Sick City Sometimes

Wow

I haven’t updated this in a while. Life got in the way. I had exams and numerous assignments all due in the same two-week span so I was into this sleep/work/sleep/work cycle that wasn’t giving me the most free time or energy to do anything remotely creative.

I’m reading “Get In The Van,” it’s fascinating how harsh the punk scene once was. Makes my life seem rather mundane and easy though. If I’m ever about to complain about my lot someone shove that book at me and allow me to compare myself to Black Flag’s European tours. Yikes.

I’m back in Niagara for a few weeks not that school’s out. I’ve been doing the rounds every night with my high school friends who still remain. I’m eating like shit however (re: way too much) and I feel rather unhealthy. I’m looking forwards to getting back to Guelph and being able to control my
diet a bit.

Someone needs to make diet beer.
Wait. No. On second thought that would be disgusting.

Speaking of which, I’m currently waiting for people to show up so we can go out to some British pub. I was feeling like shit but I just can’t say no to seeing everyone this week. I feel guilty for putting my work before “hanging out” so much. At least I have this job starting on May 5th that gives me some sense of closure with this education in computer science. Ooh. Doorbell.

Gotta go.
