I’m just having one wild shindig of a time right now. My first week of training at my new job is complete, and so far it rules. There’s this great “progressive new-idea” vibe that flows through the entire place so it’s looking to be anything but a typical office job.

I’ve finally stopped pining and purchased a damn iPod. One of the new designs too. It’s in the mail as we speak.

Tomorrow my and my cousin are guestlisted for the Planet Smashers / Belvedere / Bigwig / Big D & The Kids Table show at the Trash. It promises to be a rockin good time.

I’ve got my new (to me) car up in Guelph now and I’ve been driving around all weekend. I’m slowly getting better at driving stick, so provided any crazy hill experiences tomorrow, we’re good to go. Waterloo is a hilly, heavily trafficed city so after a week driving that town in a standard I’ll be an expert.

I also just finished my first free-lance programming work I’ve ever done. So that’s probably going to pay for the iPod. If only we could convince my
girlfriend to move to Guelph I’d be set More later this week…
