Things are finally settling in a bit. The weeks are still firing by but I, for the first time in a while, don’t feel rushed. It’s like I’m in the drivers seat of the freight train as opposed to being tied to the side of it.

I’m listening to a lot of pop punk tonight. I’m not sure why really, I guess I’m not in a very angry mood. I’d like to defend myself by saying its generally good fun “rock n’ roll” pop punk as opposed to “grade 10 relationship emo pop.” So stuff like Less Than Jake, Autopilot Off and Flashlight Brown as opposed to others. Don’t tempt me or I’ll break out the Chixdiggit.

People seem to like my review of the new Less Than Jake album (10,000+ hits ain’t too shabby). I like my New Pornographers review much more, but hey… I can’t control people’s clicking habits.
