Does anyone else think it would be totally fitting if the best punk rock record of the year comes from Sleater-Kinney? I’ve pretty much existed outside their rabid fanbase, but if “Entertain” is any indication of how The Woods is comprised I might just become one of them. This is just a vicious track, sounding far more relevant and vital than anything I’ve heard from the big punk labels in a while. I really wasn’t expecting such a primal garage stomp from this band, but I’m pleasantly surprised.
