Now this was a great little band that just sort of disappeared. The Now Time Delegation was Tim Kerr’s project with Alex Cuervo when the King Sound Quartet fell apart. Fantastic garage-soul stuff with vocals by the BellRays’ Lisa Kekaula and a surprisingly tight band of veterans from a number of projects. They released Watch For Today in 2001 on In The Red before they ever played a show… and that was about it. I actually like Kekaula’s vocals more here than in the BellRays. While I can appreciate her screaming her head off, she does have a rather cool singing voice to play with too.
